Highland Drifter Sessions is a celebration of South African music, storytelling and creative culture. This month’s edition pays tribute to the life and legacy of the late Dr Ray “Chikapa” Phiri, one of the country’s greatest musical pioneers, whose influence continues to echo through generations.

Expect an evening where live instrumentation meets powerful vocals, spoken word, hip hop, Afro-soul, jazz and authentic storytelling. From established musicians to emerging artists, every performance is a reminder that great music is timeless.

Backed by The Steam Engine Band, the stage comes alive with collaborations, improvisation and unforgettable moments, while DJs keep the energy flowing throughout the night.
